Arizona Polymer Flooring (APF) announced Daniel Owen as president and chief executive officer. He will oversee the strategic direction of the company, including the development of new product lines and expansion into new markets.

Owen started his career at APF in 1992. Since then he has worked in virtually every department and position within the company, from general labor and chemical processing to sales and customer service.

Owen was promoted to vice president in 2006. In this position he implemented new business systems and procedures, production practices, customer service practices, environmental initiatives and dynamic marketing campaigns, all of which contributed to APF’s most significant growth phase to date and positioned the company as an emerging leader nationwide in the concrete coating industry.

“APF has grown rapidly in the last 25 years due to our quality concrete coating products and tireless efforts to improving the customer experience,” said Owen. “Moving forward, we commit to finding new ways to bring additional value to our customers and build long-term relationships.”

Owens adds that the company plans to expand its footprint into new vertical markets. In the past year, APF has developed specialized flooring systems for the aviation, auto and biomedical industries. Additional product lines are under development.

Owen’s parents, Dean and Carol, founded the company in 1985. He assumed ownership in April.

APF serves contractors, architects and end users nationwide. Distributors are located in 19 states.
