Missouri's I-70 interstate is in need of repair, and Tim Sylvester has ideas that will turn the roadway into an electronic interstate. Sylvester is proposing a $4 million pilot project that would test his pavement on a short stretch of non-interstate road. Sylvester's dream is for a road that could charge electric cars as they're driven, alerts road professionals when there are icy spots or work needs to be done and more high-tech features.
