Bridgit is tackling one of construction's biggest workforce planning challenges with new artificial intelligence tools designed to help contractors automate staffing decisions, identify scheduling conflicts and better manage labor resources.
The company expanded its Bridgit AI platform with new AI agents and the Bridgit Model Context Protocol (MCP), which connects workforce data with AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini.
The new AI agents are designed to assist workforce planners by building project teams, identifying available workers, recommending staffing assignments, summarizing project changes and generating workforce reports. According to the company, users review and approve recommendations before any changes are made.
The new MCP enables contractors to access live workforce planning data through third-party AI assistants without switching between applications or manually generating reports.
The company said the latest AI capabilities are intended to streamline workforce planning, improve resource allocation and reduce the administrative workload associated with managing labor across construction projects.
