JLG's ClearSky fleet management telematics solution provides flexible options to access critical engine and equipment operational data. The solution is designed to give customers insights about what is going on with JLG equipment — not just where it’s at, but also how it’s being used.
This enables equipment owners and users to make informed decisions about JLG products based on the relevant information available such as:
- Machine location to help with service planning and cuts on downtime for field techs
- Fault codes to get machines back on rent; can be sent via text and email
- Machine hours to help with billing and knowing when to service the machine
- Battery status
- Machine utilization
- Setting geofences or time fences to protect investment and to be notified on machine usage (leaving a particular area or being used before or after a designated time)
- Scheduling maintenance
JLG offers ClearSky telematics devices factory-installed and form-fitted to the exact machine on new production models, as well as retrofit kits for machines currently in the field.
ClearSky telematics features include:
- Data points available in real time and accessible from desktop or mobile devices
- Can be integrated with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
- Dashboard, settings and widgets are editable and can be prioritized to customer preferences
Once JLG equipment is telematics-enabled, equipment owners and users need to connect the asset to access machine data via a mobile device or computer.
