[VIDEO] Fastbrick 30-Meter Robot Arm Builds a Brick House in a Day

Robotic bricklayer in which Caterpillar has invested in follows BIM models to lay brick autonomously

The Hadrian X is a bricklaying robot from Australia's Fastbrick Robotics, with a 30-meter mechanical arm to lay bricks at a rate of 1,000 bricks per hour. Hadrian X can read a 3D CAD model of a building and follow those instructions precisely, working day and night.

Caterpillar signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Fastbrick Robotics in July of 2017 to develop a potential framework for collaboration regarding development, manufacturing, sales, and services of robotic bricklaying technology.
