Adaptive has introduced Project Accounting Agents, a suite of AI-powered tools designed to automate construction accounting workflows and improve communication between jobsites and finance teams.
The agents are designed to handle routine accounting tasks, including collecting project updates from field personnel, coding invoices, drafting change orders and tracking lien waivers. According to the company, the goal is to provide finance teams with more timely project data and reduce administrative workloads.
Adaptive said the AI agents function as specialized roles within a construction finance department, each focused on a specific workflow. Available agents include tools for work-in-progress reporting and forecasting, accounts payable processing, change order management, billing, bank and credit card reconciliations, and compliance document tracking.
