Leica Geosystems has launched the new RTC series of terrestrial laser scanners, introducing the RTC300, RTC500 and RTC700 for surveying, construction, infrastructure and industrial applications.
The new series combines features from Leica's RTC360 and ScanStation P-Series platforms, offering improvements in scanning speed, accuracy and range. The scanners are available in three performance levels, allowing users to upgrade capabilities as project requirements change.
This series also offers real-time workflow connectivity. Using Leica Cyclone FIELD 360 and Hexagon GeoCloud, scan data can be streamed from the field to cloud-based projects as it is captured. This allows teams to verify site coverage, reduce rework and begin processing data before fieldwork is complete.
The RTC series replaces the Leica RTC360/LT and ScanStation P30, P40 and P50 product lines.
