The 82,800-lb. 336F H Hybrid will soon be powered by a Tier 4 Final Cat C9.3 ACERT engine. This unit features an integrated design that conserves fuel, optimizes performance and captures and reuses energy - a design that delivers estimated fuel savings of up to 30% compared with its standard 336 counterpart.

  • 303-hp C9.3 engine with proven electronic, fuel, air and aftertreatment components and an automatic engine speed control, engine idle shutdown system and an ECO mode
  • Electronic Standardized Programmable (ESP) pump integrates machine power sources and matches engine performance to the load encountered
  • Adaptive Control System (ACS) valve optimizes hydraulic performance by intelligently managing restriction and flow, seamlessly controlling machine motion and ensuring hydraulic power  where and when it's required
  • Swing Energy Recovery (SER) valve captures kinetic energy from the swing deceleration, storing it for reuse
  • Provides 24-ft. 7-in. (standard) or 26-ft. 10-in. maximum dig depths (long boom) and 66,139-lbf. drawbar pull
  • Incorporates a massive frame, heavy-duty extended-length undercarriage and 5.5-ton counterweight
  • Features ground-level service access to major maintenance points, an electric fuel system priming pump, remote fuel tank drain and a fuel level indicator
  • Optional factory integrated Grade Control Depth and Slope can be easily be upgraded to 3D capability with the addition of AccuGrade GPS or Universal Total Station (UTS) systems
