Terramac introduced the RT15R rotating crawler carrier, replacing the RT14R with a higher payload capacity and updates aimed at improving productivity, serviceability and operator comfort.
The RT15R has a 30,000-pound carrying capacity, an increase of 2,000 pounds over the previous model. The added payload is designed for utility, pipeline and general construction applications where moving more material per trip can improve jobsite efficiency.
The crawler carrier features an EGR-free engine, ground-level access to daily service points and simplified engine management to reduce maintenance time and increase uptime.
Cab updates include a larger touchscreen display, enhanced climate control and improved visibility with a thicker windshield. Additional safety features include expanded access steps, more operator alerts and a fire extinguisher.
Like its predecessor, the RT15R features a 360-degree rotating upper structure that allows operators to unload materials in any direction, helping improve maneuverability and efficiency in confined jobsites.
