Doosan Introduces New DX140LCR-7 Excavator at WOC

Doosan has introduced a new DX140LCR-7 excavator at the World of Concrete 2022 tradeshow event, featuring the excavator's upgraded technologies and enhanced controls and comfort. The 14-metric-ton, reduced-tail-swing DX140LCR-7 comes with enhanced swing performance, increased fuel efficiency and more operator comfort features than the previous iteration.

Key specs for the excavator include: 

• Power rating: 115 hp
• Operating weight: 35,424 lbs.
• Maximum digging depth: 19 ft. 8 in.
• Maximum digging reach (ground): 28 ft.
• Maximum loading height: 23 ft. 3 in.   

Features include:

• Doosan Stage V D34 4-cylinder engine and delivers 86 kW at 2,000 rpm
• Exhaust gases are purified by Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) with no maintenance before 8,000 hours   
• Two systems (Variable Speed Control and Pump Torque Control) work together to improve efficiency while maintaining productivity
• Choice of four power modes (Eco - Standard - Power - Power Plus) and automatic Smart Power Control system for optimal power and reduced fuel consumption in all conditions    
• Reinforced castings and forged steel pivot points and reinforced heavy-duty arm and boom 
• Mono boom or articulated boom for added versatility
