- Compact Graphite Iron (CGI) cylinder head provides high thermal and mechanical resistance, while steel pistons create high peak cylinder pressure with high power density and low particulate matter output
- Double re-entrant combustion bowl allows for accurate control of fuel and air mix
- Incorporates four valves per cylinder, a third-generation common rail fuel injection system, ball bearing turbocharger with waste gate and a rear gear-train timing system that reduces noise and vibration
