Apex Directional Drilling used the Ditch Witch JT100 All Terrain boring machines to finish a 2,100-ft. bore, 700 ft. down Augspurger Mountain near Portland, OR. Work went on through 20-ft. snow drifts, 90-mph wind gusts, and solid and fractured rock.
