What are some solutions? AED's Vision 2024 is the Foundation's first step, focusing on three areas:
- More accredited colleges and universities with diesel technology programs. Goal is to have over 100 more accredited AED Foundation schools over the next five years.
- Reach out to high schools and parents to help high school students identify these possible career paths early and educate high school students on what opportunities are available to them. Goal is to fill 10,000 new technicians per year through these programs.
- Foundations and members helping achieve these goals.
