MEC Aerial Work Platforms introduces its PLUS (+) slab electric scissor lift line at The ARA Show in Orlando, updating eight models with changes aimed at reducing downtime and extending operating time.
The PLUS line increases maximum platform capacities by up to 100 lbs. per model. Deck extension and Xtra-Deck capacities rise from 250 lbs. to 300 lbs., intended to reduce overload-related shutdowns.

Two Micro 19+ models feature new AC front-wheel drive brushless motors that increase duty cycles by 8%. Six larger models — Micro 26+, Micro 26-XD+, 3232+, 3346+, 4046+ and 4555+ — add PMSR AC+ motors that recapture lifting energy and increase duty cycles by 22%. The updated motors also enable proportional lowering for smoother descent.
Additional updates include improved maneuverability for indoor job sites, a redesigned entry gate with magnetic latching and a larger control box display.
Fleet-focused changes include deeper forklift pockets, side forklift access on models above 26 ft., larger wheels on Micro 19+ units and a theft-deterrent control box bracket. The machines come standard with AGM batteries, a leak containment system and a single charging and power-to-platform outlet.
