Hilti's aggressive sales model has helped the tool and equipment maker during the prolonged worldwide downturn in the construction market, CEO Bo Risberg said during a visit to the company's North American headquarters in Tulsa.

The CEO of Lichtenstein-based Hilti, which has 625 employees in Tulsa, said the company did take a hit along with others in the industry as construction continues to struggle, part of a downturn that began in 2008.
