Given a lift from sales of aerial work platforms, OshkoshCorp. shares climbed 15% on quarterly earnings that topped analysts' estimates.
Oshkosh reported a third-quarter net profit of $75.7 million, or 82 cents a share, up from $68.4 million, or 75 cents per share, a year earlier. That was 29 cents more per share than the average forecast, according to Thomson Reuters.
Revenue increased 7.6% to $2.18 billion.
