Rental Equipment Investment Group Buys Colorado-Based Hillside Rentals

Rental Equipment Investment Corp. (REIC), Miami, has acquired all of the assets and certain liabilities of Hillside Rental LLC, an equipment rental holding company led by Kevin Fitzgerald and other private investors based in Evans, CO. 

“Hillside is an excellent well-run company that has been operating in the northeast of Colorado for 30 years,” Kevin Fitzgerald, CEO of REIC, was quoted as saying in industry reports. “We are excited to purchase Hillside and continue with its management team. This is REIC’s third acquisition since we were established in late 2014 and we plan to continue to expand REIC’s footprint through opening new stores and through acquisitions of other rental equipment companies.”
