Perkins has expanded its Tier 4 Final power range with a new 18-liter engine designed for mobile generator sets in the North American rental market. The 2806F-E18TAG2 ElectropaK, now available to order, is built to meet ISO 8528-5 G2 performance standards and provide strong load acceptance for jobsites, events and other locations that depend on mobile electric power.

The engine produces up to 500 kWe prime power at 60 Hz and features a single electronic control module to streamline installation and support future diagnostics and telematics integration. The system also manages aftertreatment operation and regeneration automatically to reduce downtime.

The 2806F can operate on biodiesel blends up to B20 or on 100% hydrotreated vegetable oil, as long as the fuel meets Perkins specifications.

The new model joins Perkins’ full lineup of Tier 4 Final certified engines for electric power generation, which spans 7 to 500 kWe. It is supported by the company’s global service network.
