Effective Nov. 1, 2014, H&E Equipment Services Inc. (H&E) announced the opening of its new store in Pharr, TX, joining 12 other full-service H&E operations in Texas and 69 stores nationwide.
The new store will serve the McAllen, TX area. The reconstructed 15,250-square-foot facility sits on five acres with a large yard area, offices, a parts warehouse and a six-bay repair shop that includes two, 10-ton overhead cranes. The facility is capable of repairing a variety of machines from compact construction equipment to large boom lifts.
The branch specializes in aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, compact and some large earthmoving, and general construction equipment from the following manufacturers: Atlas Copco, Gehl, Genie, JLG, Multiquip, Skyjack, Skytrak, Sullivan, Takeuchi, Wacker Neuson, Yanmar and others. Grove, Manitowoc and Manitex crane products and services for the area will continue to be provided by the H&E Houston Crane store.
“We are extremely pleased to increase our presence in south Texas,” said Roger Wood, H&E McAllen branch manager, “and expand into the Rio Grande Valley market. This area has a strong and diverse economy, including energy, healthcare and education, along with commercial and residential construction. We are anxious to provide our new and existing customers the resources and advantages of a full-service H&E operation."
In addition to equipment rentals, the facility provides new and used equipment sales, in-shop and mobile service, a comprehensive parts inventory, training and other value-added services.
