Gordon Campbell has been hired as director of financial planning and analysis for Acme Lift Co., the world’s largest wholesale rental company specializing in the biggest boom lifts, telehandlers and portable air compressors.
“I’m thrilled to join the terrific Acme Lift team,” he said. “They’re customer-focused pros, serving the rental equipment industry in such a unique and quality manner.”
Campbell is a certified public accountant with 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, including eight years with BlueLine Rental and its predecessor, Volvo Rents. He has spent much of his career in controller or chief financial officer roles.
“Gordon brings to Acme Lift an important set of specialized abilities in addition to his strong finance and accounting background,” said Woody Weld, Acme Lift’s chairman and chief executive officer. “Acme Lift’s business model includes significant financial and capital management disciplines which require specialized measurement and reporting tools. Gordon has shown exceptional ability in both the creation and implementation of those disciplines and tools. We are honored to have him join the Acme Lift team.”
Prior to joining Acme Lift, Campbell was director of financial planning and analysis for BlueLine Rental for four years. He previously was franchise field support and reporting manager for Volvo Construction Equipment for four years.
“We are excited and pleased to add Gordon to our team,” said Roger Slagle, Acme Lift’s chief financial officer. “He brings a diverse skill set including experience in the equipment rental industry, which will add to our already strong team as our business continues to grow.”
