The ECHO Inc.-sponsored business and social platform, ECHO Means Business, has gone mobile and is available on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android devices.
As the information-laden platform passes its first year in operation, the sponsors have chosen to make the site and resources even more accessible by incorporating a mobile app.
The app incorporates a more social aspect where users can comment, like and share with others. Among other useful features, users can upload videos and/or content, ask questions and get answers “on-the-go," as well as connect with other pros for tips on how to grow their business.
“ECHO Means Business users are busy and they need information in the palm of their hand. We knew we needed to take the site to them out in the field,” says Sam Fiorella, CSO/Partner of Sensei Marketing, the Toronto-based company that manages the site.
Outdoor power equipment manufacturer ECHO Incorporated is the EMB platform sponsor but does not use the site for advancing its brand or selling its products. At the center of the program is a User Advisory Group which is a 100% volunteer group of landscapers and grounds maintenance professionals who use or are fans of various brands and are willing to share content to help advance the industry.
