USGBC Approves NCCER Alternative Energy Course for Green Building Education

Course will help satisfy Credentialing Maintenance Program requirements from the Green Building Certification Institute

NCCER's module Introduction to Alternative Energy has been approved as high-quality green building education by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Introduction to Alternative Energy went through a rigorous review process in which a team of third-party subject matter experts evaluated the course based on its content and instructional design quality.

With its approval by USGBC, Introduction to Alternative Energy will now help LEED Professionals satisfy their Credentialing Maintenance Program requirements from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). Introduction to Alternative Energy is worth 25 GBCI CE hours by USGBC.

Through this course, NCCER is helping to advance the knowledge and skill of the green building community.
