The XL 90 Blademate trailer provides a premium solution for hauling wind turbine blades safely and efficiently. It features a unique self-steering system in which the axles automatically rotate to keep the trailer behind the truck at all times. The kingpin also rotates and prompts the axles to track with it using hydraulic cylinders. An override remote allows drivers to take full control as needed.
- Rated at 90,000 lbs. overall and measures 53 ft. long when closed and 184 ft. 2 in. when fully extended
- Includes stops every 18 in. from 124 ft. to full extension
- Telescoping main frame features extendable technology using 6-in. greasable double rollers
- 20-ft. pullout bumper on the rear features roller mounting, stops every 24 in. and a double-lock system to secure the setup
- Prepped for deck inserts to enable a length of over 200 ft. overall
- Adjustable and customizable rolling and non-rolling bunks situated on the main deck
- 20-in. steel loading platforms at the front and rear provide tie-down areas
- Beacon located on the side toolbox illuminates when the axles turn out of alignment 3° or more
- Three red/green indicator lights signal if the power unit is on or off
- Large work light on the gooseneck shines 1,200 lumens rearward for loading, unloading or checking the load in the dark
