In 1916, 100 years ago this summer, a husband and wife team crossed the United States from Seattle to New York and back in a GMC truck. Spanning an astounding 9,500 miles over 27 weeks, this double transcontinental crossing was a world's first feat in a motor vehicle. (More on that story)
