[VIDEO] Norway is Building the World's First Tunnel for Ships

The Norwegian National Transport Plan for 2018 to 2029 will include funding to build the world’s first full-scale ship tunnel -- the Stad Ship Tunnel, able to accommodate cruise and freight ships weighing up to 16,000 tonnes.
