Funding Nebraska Roads with Sales Tax Draws Army of Support

At least 21 supporters of a roads funding plan (LB84) lined up Thursday in front of the Nebraska Revenue Committee to mostly sing its praises and thank Sen. Deb Fischer of Valentine for introducing the proposal. Fischer's bill would earmark a half-cent of existing sales tax, beginning in two years, for roads funding.
