Advanced Fiber Solutions' Polyester Fibers help increase stiffness, decrease rutting, and increase durability in hot melt asphalt. The fibers are available in 1/4-in. length with a 4.5 denier. They have a tensile strength of 4.3 gpd and a melting point of 495 degrees Fahrenheit. The fibers are available in mixed colors, black, and natural, and come in 5-, 10-, 15- or 20-lb. plastic bags in 60-lb. boxes.
