Bullard, a long-established manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE), will incorporate Twiceme Technology into its latest line of Type II+ safety helmets. The integration brings digital safety capabilities to industrial head protection, offering new tools for emergency response and safety oversight.
Twiceme’s technology allows safety managers and emergency personnel to access critical medical information directly from a helmet. Workers can upload emergency contacts, health conditions, and allergy details to the embedded chip, which can then be scanned on-site if an incident occurs — reducing delays in treatment or decision-making.
The technology will be embedded in select models of Bullard’s new Type II+ helmets. This collaboration reflects a shift toward connected safety gear that supports both day-to-day site operations and emergency preparedness.

Through Twiceme’s Safety Management Portal (SMP), companies can also use the technology to streamline safety processes, manage inspections, maintain equipment documentation and track helmet usage across teams. These digital tools are designed to increase accountability and reduce the administrative burden for safety managers.
Founded in 1898, Bullard has played a central role in the evolution of head protection — most notably with the invention of the first hard hat in 1919. The company’s partnership with Twiceme marks its latest move to bring modern technology into personal protective equipment.
By integrating smart capabilities into helmet design, the companies aim to enhance operational safety and improve response times in critical moments — advancing how industrial workplaces protect their crews.
