Newforma has introduced a Server Buyback Program for its Project Center clients through a new partnership with ReluTech and Amazon Web Services. The program aims to help architecture, engineering, construction and owner (AECO) firms retire aging hardware and move more easily toward cloud-based systems.

Through the program, ReluTech handles logistics, including secure hardware transport, data wiping and certificates of data destruction. The company also offers maintenance services for firms that continue to operate legacy equipment during the transition.

Newforma leaders said the collaboration is part of the company’s broader effort to support digital modernization across the AECO sector. ReluTech and AWS representatives noted that the combined approach is designed to give firms financial flexibility and a clearer path toward cloud adoption.

The partnership reflects a continued push within the industry to streamline information management and reduce reliance on on-premises infrastructure as project teams look for more connected, data-driven workflows.
