Hyundai Construction Equipment North America has promoted Michael Ross to chief operating officer, where he will oversee daily operations and support the company’s operational strategy under President and CEO Stan Park.
Ross joined Hyundai in February 2020 as vice president of construction equipment sales. He brought more than two decades of experience with construction equipment manufacturers, having held roles ranging from territory sales manager to director of product and operations.
Before joining the equipment industry, Ross served six years in the U.S. Army after graduating from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a degree in economics.
Most recently, Ross served as senior vice president overseeing sales, service, product and marketing. In that role, he worked with Park on dealer network growth and the expansion of product and parts support operations, including efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
