Retail diesel prices have risen for 12 consecutive weeks to a level not seen since October 2008.
The average retail price of a gallon of diesel fuel in the U.S. is up 3.9 cents this week, topping $3.57 per gallon and marking its 12th consecutive weekly increase. That national-average diesel price per gallon is the highest since October 2008, when diesel reached $3.65 per gallon. West-Coast diesel approached $3.73 per gallon.
