Oztec, a leading manufacturer of concrete vibrating and grinding equipment, announces that it has received the CE Mark approval for it's BP50a Backpack Concrete Vibrator. The CE Mark certifies that Oztec's BP50a has met EU consumer safety requirements.
The CE Mark allows Oztec to sell it's BP50a to the European Union's (EU) 27 member countries and 4 European Free Trade Area (EFTA) countries.
With the CE Mark approval, Oztec can begin to provide the European Market with the same powerful and rugged equipment it has provided and continues to provide to not only the United States but it's other global markets.
The BP50a Backpack Concrete Vibrator is equipped with a totally enclosed rotary throttle allowing the operator to comfortably control the engine while preventing wet concrete from entering and clogging the throttle mechanism. A kill switch is also conveniently located on the same handle.
The rotary throttle has been specifically designed to eliminate the operator's variable setting of the engine speed. This feature will ensure that the unit will consistently produce the proper vibrations per minute resulting in optimum concrete consolidation.
All Oztec backpacks come standard with the Quick Disconnect "QD" system and dependable Honda gasoline engines. Coupled to a "speed-up" transmission, vibrator heads develop 12,000 vpm and never drop below 10,000 vpm, Even in the heaviest low slump concrete loads. (Tested in near 0 slump concrete). The BP-50a will run steel and rubber vibrator heads up to 2 1/2 inches.
