North American Specialty Products Showcases Foundation Water Management System at WOC

North American Specialty Products LLC is a provider of foundation building products. NASP is helping builders and contractors take a holistic approach to foundation waterproofing and drainage by offering a comprehensive below grade water management system. This system includes three dimpled membrane products: Ameri-Block, Platon and Ameri-Block Plus. It offers a broad range of waterproofing options for distributors and contractors. These products integrate seamlessly with NASP’s Form-A-Drain to establish a complete foundation water management system.

• Ameri-Block is a dimpled, high-density-polyethylene (HDPE) membrane for exterior foundation damp proofing. It provides an economical solution for code compliant moisture protection for basement foundations. Made from 100 percent recycled material, it can contribute to earning LEED credits.
• Platon eliminates the need for additional waterproofing treatments. It can be installed with Platon speed-clips or speed-strips and creates a separate, waterproof barrier that retains its efficacy even if foundation cracks develop or settling occurs.
• Ameri-Block Plus acts as a drainage layer for waterproofing applications. It is ideal for heavy-duty commercial applications or blindside work where gravel isn’t an option. Installed with the dimples facing away from the concrete wall, its construction design channels the water to the foundation drainage system, while its geotextile fabric blocks soil to maintain a high flow rate.
