Amanda Hult was hired as the NRMCA director of pavement structures

SILVER SPRING, MD -- The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association has hired Amanda H. Hult as director, pavement structures. Ms. Hult, who is based in Denver, will provide technical expertise and education to the ready mixed concrete industry and its customers to advance the applications and use of ready mixed concrete for streets, local roads and parking areas, including conventional concrete, concrete overlays and pervious concrete. She will also represent NRMCA before AASHTO, FHWA, ASCE, ACI and other organizations that develop codes and standards for pavements. In addition, Ms. Hult will monitor and provide input to sustainability standards for roads and infrastructure, including Envision, Greenroads, GreenLITES and FHWA Sustainable Highways Self-evaluation tool.

The addition of Ms. Hult comes shortly after a pair of other key NRMCA staff announcements. In late June, Brian Killingsworth, PE, was named senior director, pavement structures. And last month Tien Peng, LEED AP, CGP, PMP, joined NRMCA as senior director, sustainability, codes and standards.
