Accept payments using just your phone. That’s possible with the Mobeewave solution. With Mobeewave, contractors can accept money from a contactless card or a mobile wallet using only a smart mobile device - no other hardware needed. A Mastercard or Visa payment is made/collected just by swiping the customer’s card against the contractor’s mobile device.
Mobeewave is not a mobile application, but it’s use on mobile devices makes it a solution worth considering. With the adaptation of technology across all aspects of a construction jobsite, a mobile solution to accept payment seems like the logical next step.
Payment data resides in the Embedded Secure Element hardware of a mobile device, one of the most secure parts of a smartphone, according to Mobeewave. This ensures all sensitive payment data is encrypted before it is passed into the operating system, keeping it secure. Sensitive customer data is never store or visible in clear text in the Mobeewave application.
Currently, Mobeewave has a partnership with Samsung Electronics. The Mobeewave platform is available on over 250 million Samsung devices worldwide. Mobeewave is also developing an alternative application for use on all other Android-based devices.
In addition, the Mobeewave solution can be connected to a Bluetooth printer to support receipt printing.
