CM Labs Simulations has unveiled the Intellia Instructor, a software program serving as a component of a next-generation training management system. Intellia Instructor works in concert with CM Labs suite of Training Packs and Vortex Training Simulators to provide a methodology for organizations in the Construction and Utilities market.
CM Labs virtual training systems help address industry issues such as operator safety, sustainability and workforce management. The shift from operator training on real equipment to simulation training can help mitigate risks.
“Based on our work with customers and industry experts, the market is demanding a next generation management system that will scale and provide a higher level of training results,” said Lisa Barbieri, vice president of marketing and strategic partnerships. “The need for adaptable training management is key to leveraging the best learning outcomes from virtual training programs. Intellia Instructor is the first step in taking simulation training to the next level.”
Intellia Instructor is designed to help training organizations grow their training programs while supporting administrative functions. Uncoupled and untethered from a teaching station, instructors can support multiple trainees at once while keeping an eye on how individual trainees are performing, in real time.
Used in parallel with CM Labs’ Simulator Training Packs, the data extracted from training results reflect an evaluation of an operator’s skills. Based on patented engineering-grade authentic machine behavior, operator assessment offers insights into fuel consumption, cycle times and safe operation levels in real-world scenarios.
Intellia Instructor includes flexible training management options, live one-to-many centralized monitoring via tablet, assessment and reporting of trainee data, while encouraging trainee autonomy with programmable self-paced learning paths.
