Outbuild has introduced a new approach to construction scheduling with the launch of its Project Intelligence platform, aimed at connecting planning, field execution and project data in a single system.
The platform builds on traditional scheduling by positioning the schedule as a central data layer that reflects real-time jobsite conditions, rather than a static plan.
The rollout also includes tighter integration between the field and the schedule. Through mobile tools, crews on the job can update task progress, manpower and site conditions in real time, with that information feeding directly into project schedules. The system also allows teams to log and track issues like delays, missing information or coordination gaps by linking them to specific activities.
Outbuild is also introducing AI-driven capabilities that enable users to analyze schedules using natural language queries, helping teams identify risks, understand impacts across trades and access key project information more quickly.
At the management level, new dashboard and timeline tools provide visibility across multiple projects, offering real-time insight into progress, delays and resource constraints. Additional features allow teams to document and evaluate schedule impacts from factors such as weather or material issues, helping maintain control over timelines.
The launch reflects a broader shift in construction technology toward more connected, data-driven project management, as contractors look to improve decision-making and project outcomes in increasingly complex environments.
