Field service software provider Simpro Group announced RAIN, a new release that adds AI-powered features and enhancements across its Simpro, AroFlo and BigChange platforms.
The update builds on the company's Lightning platform, which introduced a unified AI system called Cooper. According to Simpro, the latest release includes dozens of new features, more than 100 AI-enhanced updates and hundreds of customer-requested improvements.
Among the new capabilities are:
- AI scheduling (Simpro): AI considers technician location, skills, certifications and availability to optimize job assignments and reduce drive time. Real-time schedule adjustments are also coming to AroFlo and BigChange.
- Sales pipeline and CRM (Simpro and BigChange): Users can track leads, manage contacts and convert opportunities into jobs within the platform.
- AI photo validation (BigChange): AI reviews jobsite photos to help confirm required documentation has been captured.
- AI-assisted safety forms (AroFlo): Users can photograph a work area, and AI identifies potential hazards to populate safety forms before work begins.
- Field inventory management (Simpro): Technicians can check inventory, transfer stock between vehicles and complete stock counts from mobile devices.
Simpro said the new features will roll out in phases over the coming months and are designed to improve scheduling, field operations, inventory management and safety workflows across its field service platforms.
