Buffalo Construction is implementing Highwire's contractor management platform to centralize its contractor prequalification process as the company continues to expand across the United States.
The platform will standardize contractor evaluations by consolidating information on safety performance, financial health, project capacity, experience and overall risk into a single system.
According to Buffalo Construction, the move replaces a decentralized process that relied on project teams to manage contractor information. The company expects the platform to provide greater consistency in evaluating trade partners and improve visibility into contractor qualifications across its portfolio of approximately 150 projects annually.
Highwire said the platform is designed to support contractor selection, risk management and prequalification efforts for construction organizations.
