MOCA Systems Inc. has released Touchplan Precision Time Planning (PTP), a new capability for its Touchplan production planning platform that enables minute-level scheduling for complex construction projects.
The tool is designed to improve coordination of crews, equipment and materials during time-sensitive work such as shutdowns, utility tie-ins, commissioning and heavy civil projects. It supports detailed planning for critical work windows while helping reduce trade stacking, idle time and scheduling conflicts.
According to the company, PTP embeds time awareness into project data at the task and minute level, allowing production plans to be updated as jobsite conditions change.
The feature is initially seeing adoption on heavy civil projects, including highway, bridge and rail work, where precise scheduling is critical to minimizing delays and maintaining worker safety.
