Linxup has introduced two rear-facing auxiliary cameras designed to integrate with its LinxCam fleet camera system, expanding visibility behind vehicles for fleets.
The new LinxCam Rear Vision and LinxCam Rear Vision Slimline cameras are intended to help document rear-end collisions, verify completed work, monitor assets and provide additional video evidence for insurance claims and liability disputes.
The Rear Vision model is designed for applications such as towing, waste management and delivery fleets, while the Slimline version mounts above the license plate for rear visibility in a more compact design.
The launch follows a Linxup survey of 267 fleet professionals, which found that 53.6% believe dash cameras and GPS tracking improve driver safety, while 43.8% said camera or GPS footage has affected the outcome of an insurance claim or legal dispute.
