Blount International, Inc. has hired David Gillrie as President, ICS. Gillrie joins Blount from Terex Corporation, where he served as a Global General Manager at its Genie division. Prior to that role, he worked for Ingersoll-Rand in a variety of senior management roles within their security products businesses.
In his new role, Gillrie will lead the global team responsible for product development and manufacturing, sales and marketing, and other functions for Blount’s ICS branded products. ICS is a leader in manufacturing diamond chain, guide bars, and chain saws utilized in construction for cutting concrete, aggregate materials, and water utility pipe.
“Dave’s leadership expertise in business strategy, product development, and global marketing will provide the foundation to continue the growth of our ICS business,” stated Josh Collins, Blount’s Chairman and CEO. “We look forward to Dave’s contributions in developing complementary products and additional markets to further expand the ICS brand.”
