National Pavement Expo 2016 to Feature TWO Equipment Giveaways

KM International will be giving away a KM 2-18X INFRARED ASPHALT RECYLCER, retail value: $8,900

The KM 2-18X INFRARED ASPHALT RECYCLER is the perfect machine for new pavement fixes, utility cut repairs, or repairing any other asphalt imperfections. The unit softens hot mix asphalt surfaces using infrared heat enabling scarification, re-mixing, and re-compaction of the pavement for a seamless repair. Equipped with two 30-pound cylinders of propane, the unit allows for either a single 3’6″ x 3′3″ zone or dual 3′6″ x 6′6″ zones totaling 22.75 square feet of infrared heat. This unit also works well for thermoplastic template applications. The lightweight KM2-18X is easily moved to service areas previously inaccessible.

NPE 2016 will be held Jan. 27-30 at the Charlotte Convention Center in downtown Charlotte. It's the fourth time Charlotte – home of the NASCAR Hall of Fame – has hosted the annual paving and pavement maintenance trade show and conference program.

In addition to more than 50 educational sessions and exhibits open Thursday, Jan. 28 and Friday, Jan. 29, the 2016 NPE will again feature a "sneak peek" night on the exhibit floor on Wednesday, Jan. 27 beginning at 4:30.
