Developed at the request of customers, Front Load view is a dual camera system with advanced AI human form recognition software designed for equipment with front load mechanisms such as wheel loaders, forklifts, and reach stackers, regardless of the load they are carrying. This is especially critical for companies who rent these machines, as it provides less experienced operators with audible and visual alerts when a pedestrian is in the vicinity, as well as complete vision at all times in front of the bucket.
Some of the key elements include an intuitive interface to eliminate training requirements, utilizing triggers to eliminate the need for operator intervention, eliminating additional hardware ECU by housing the processing in the robust camera, and utilizing intelligent firmware and AI human form recognition to provide a clear view in front of the front load mechanism regardless of the bucket's location or load.

How it works:
- One camera is mounted high on the wheel loader. This camera feeds into the monitor when the machine is being operated with the bucket/ front load in down or neutral position. (Figure 1)
- A second camera is mounted behind the front load mechanism. As it begins to move up, the system triggers this camera to feed into the monitor, ensuring the operator has a clear view regardless of the location. (Figure 2)
- Artificial Intelligence provides an additional audible alert for the busy operator when a person is detected to avoid a collision.
- Image processing firmware is built-in to the camera itself, eliminating the need for additional onboard processing hardware and additional connectors.

Some of the requirements in development included: No operator intervention to work, intuitive interface that included both audible and visual alerts, and they did not want a separate electronic control unit (ECU) due to the harsh environment these machines stayed in throughout the job. These requirements and more were met with Front Load View, ensuring all processing is done in the camera housing, providing visual and audible alerts on the monitor, and is very intuitive to even the newest operators.
