Milwaukee Tool Introduces Battery-Powered MX FUEL™ Backpack Blower

Milwaukee Tool launches the MX FUEL™ Backpack Blower, a battery-powered alternative to gas blowers with high performance, low noise and adjustable features.

Backpack Blower

Milwaukee Tool has unveiled its latest addition to the MX FUEL Equipment System: a battery-powered backpack blower designed for heavy-duty outdoor cleanup tasks. The new model delivers higher blowing force than many 63cc gas-powered blowers while reducing noise, emissions, and maintenance requirements.

The blower is designed to meet the needs of professional users in construction, landscaping, and facilities maintenance. It offers a blowing force of 30 Newtons, airflow of 800 CFM, and airspeed of 190 MPH, all while operating at a noise level of 64 dB(A), making it suitable for use in areas with noise restrictions.

According to Milwaukee Tool, insights from professional users influenced the design, emphasizing the need for both power and adaptability. The blower includes three performance modes—low, medium, and high—that can be adjusted on the tool or remotely via the company’s ONE-KEY app. This feature also supports equipment tracking, usage reporting, and remote security management.

With an MX FUEL REDLITHIUM FORGE HD12.0 Battery, the blower offers up to 20 minutes of full-throttle runtime in high mode. Medium mode extends runtime to 30 minutes, while low mode allows for 45 minutes. Actual runtime may vary depending on use patterns such as intermittent operation and walking time.

Designed with user ergonomics in mind, the blower includes an adjustable harness, telescoping nozzle, and repositionable handle to accommodate various operator preferences. The tool is part of the broader MX FUEL system, which now includes over 25 battery-compatible solutions.
