KZN Series Slurry Pumps

The KZN heavy-duty submersible agitator pumps are designed to tackle tough conditions, including heavy slurries containing lime, mill scale, coal, ash, silt or sand and gravel.

• Heads to 77 ft. with up to 1,690 gpm
• Impeller, wear plate and agitator made of abrasive-resistant 28% chrome iron (600 Brinell, 57 Rockwell C)
• Agitator can easily put heavy solids into suspension to be pumped away with the liquid
• Replaceable wear plate’s hardened surface on the suction side prevents erosion
• Impeller can handle abrasive solid concentrations as high as 70% by weight
• Include a top discharge and slim design that allows them to fit into tighter and thin spaces
• Protected by Class H motor insulation and built-in amperage ( FLA ) and temperature overload protection
• Include double silicon carbide mechanical seals in a separate oil-filled seal chamber and a heavy-duty lip seal
• Stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve saves on shaft wear due to abrasives and corrosion
• Volutes cast from hardened Ductile Iron (300 Brinnell hardness) with extra thick walls at the point where the pumped slurry enters the discharge
• Can pump a sump or pit down to within inches of the bottom
