INTERMAT: Urban Art Display to Highlight Lift Equipment Safety

Urban artists will graphically highlight safe and effective use of powered access equipment

A colourful piece of urban art focusing on powered access safety will be created during the Intermat construction show in Paris, from April 16 to 21, at the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) Safety Zone in the Outdoor Area E2, Stand B064.

Over the six exhibition days, urban artists from Paris and Brighton, Shiz and Foundry, will spray two 7m x 5m canvases to graphically highlight the safe and effective use of powered access equipment. The artists have been trained to operate powered access equipment safely and they hold PAL Cards (Powered Access Licences).

The IPAF stand also features a "Spread the load" campaign hub in the form of a bright black-and-yellow, dome-shaped spider tent. The campaign hub houses a wealth of information and technical guidance for managers and operators looking for safety tips and training in powered access equipment, including free videos, stickers, magazines, posters and leaflets.

"Spread the load" seminars will be held on Tuesday, April 17 from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 19 from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. The seminars will be held in English and are open to all.
