CERF Inc., the former Canadian Equipment Rental Fund, has reported a third-quarter profit of $387,588, reversing a year-ago loss of $158,198 as its quarterly revenues jumped to a new record on the contributions of an acquisition and organic growth.

The construction and waste treatment equipment dealer, which converted from an income fund to a corporation in October, reported results from Canadian Equipment Rental Fund LP, the former operational division of the fund.
