ELGi North America (ELGi) plans to introduce the new GP35FP portable compressor at CONEXPO in Las Vegas. The company will display the GP35FP, the latest portable air compressor in the portfolio, and the D185T4F model. With this addition, ELGi now offers nine models in its portable air compressor lineup ranging from 35 CFM to 900 CFM.

ELGi GP35FP
The ELGi GP35FP is designed and manufactured to meet the needs of fiber optic cable-blowing professionals. A skid option is available for installation on a utility truck or trailer. It is equipped with two integrated aftercoolers to reduce the approach temperature to 3.6°F over ambient and a moisture separator unit, immediately ready to work. It is powered by a Vanguard 23-hp gas engine with an electric start and uses an ELGi air end to produce 35 cfm at 218 psi. The ELGi GP35FP is a compact and reliable air compressor for the fiber optic installation sector.
ELGi D185T4F
Also on display at CONEXPO 2023 is the ELGi D185T4F compressor. This all-steel structure has a powder-coated canopy enabling the unit to resist dents and fade when exposed to harsh conditions. Powered by a Kohler KDI diesel engine, this portable air compressor provides a compressed air source with a capacity of 185 cfm at 100 psi or 150 cfm at 150 psi. The Kohler engine design enables the portable air compressor to achieve tier 4 Final EPA requirements without needing a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) or a Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system. In addition, the D185T4F is equipped with a new DeepSea controller and Intelligent Start-Stop System that prevents cold-starting and blowback.
