Redmond, OR - Redmond firefighters were called to Cent-Wise Hardware on SW 5th St. Monday night after smoke had filled a portion of the store. Crews arrived just before 11:30 p.m., found the rental area filled with smoke, and forced their way in the building. Once inside, crews snuffed out a piece of rental equipment that was on fire. It appears that smoldering materials inside a floor sander bag recently returned sparked Monday's fire.
